We are pleased to announce that Ferretti Construction has been awarded the contract for the first phase of the modernization project of the Rail Mill at the Piombino plant, commissioned by Gruppo JSW Steel Italy Srl.

This project marks a significant technological advancement, introducing new machines for controlled rolling, which will allow the production of rails up to 120 meters in length. Thanks to innovative treatment and hardening techniques, these new rails will deliver superior performance in shorter production times, establishing themselves as a highly competitive product in the railway sector.

We are particularly proud to have been tasked with the implementation of the Balance of Plant, a critical component of the project that includes engineering, civil works, and installations.
