Ferretti Construction delivered the detailed civil design and performed the civil works for the new Vertical Continuous Casting Machine foundations and the structural improvement of the steel meltshop foundations at an industrial site in Vicenza.

The project, developed in collaboration with technology supplier CEA Group Srl, was executed between June 2023 and January 2024 using the Fast-Track Revamping methodology, with 24/7 operations aligned with production needs.

The works reached depths of up to -17 meters, below groundwater level, and were performed with the plant in full operation. The intervention involved the use of specialized technologies (jet-grouting, micropiles, bentonite diaphragms) and high-complexity site coordination, ensuring structural stability, continuous production, and strict adherence to schedule.
