This is made possible by prefabricated foundation technology and deployment of four synergistically linked stages:
1. Foundation pre-assembled blocks design
This stage consists of creating custom foundation pre-assembled blocks that meet the specific structural and operational requirements of the plant. Our engineers work closely with customers to ensure that every detail is considered. We use advanced modelling software to simulate the behaviour of the blocks under different load conditions and optimise the design to minimise risks and ensure accuracy and stability.
2. Foundation block prefabrication
Once the design is complete, the foundation blocks are prefabricated in controlled environments to ensure quality, safety and uniformity. Prefabrication makes it possible to meet the high standards required and ensure that each element meets the design specifications, while reducing construction time on site. This process optimises logistics and maintains a constant workflow.
3. Controlled demolition and removal of existing foundations
Before new foundations are laid, we carry out controlled demolitions to remove existing foundations structures safely and efficiently. This stage requires precise demolition techniques to preserve the integrity of the surrounding areas and minimise impact on the operating plant. The old foundations are removed with specialised equipment to ensure shorter times and safety for all adjacent work areas.
4. Pre-assembled Blocks laying and concrete pouring
In the last stage, the prefabricated blocks are positioned precisely in their final locations, where they are anchored and embedded in the existing structure. Then concrete is poured to consolidate and stabilise the foundations, creating a single, cohesive structure. This technique significantly speeds up laying times and guarantees stable, durable foundations that are ready for the loads.
